Aventure exhibits at C-130 military aviation shows
Aventure Aviation had an exciting year of exhibitions and shows for its military division. During the last quarter of 2010, Aventure Aviation’s military division participated in several C-130 events: Logistics Officer Association Conference (Orlando), Hercules Operators Conference (Atlanta), C-130 TCG Conference (Jacksonville), and the ATA Convention & Expo (Orlando). In a packed show attended by operators, suppliers, and MROs, the HOC proved to be a successful forum for Aventure’s initiatives, which included unveiling new products from the company’s military division. The show(s) gave the company a chance to meet customers and MRO associates face to face. “In today’s marketplace, the need for an open dialogue with customers is crucial. “It is important to us that our customers know we fully support them with their requirements,” states Ted Norman, Sr. VP - Military Division. During the HOC in Atlanta, Major Ross Mbizofrom South Africa won a beautiful Blue-Angels “Fat Albert” C-130 aircraft model while visiting the Aventure booth. A rapidly growing Aventure increases sales staff In 2008, Aventure acquired several acres of land located within Peachtree City’s Foreign Trade Zone. This ideal location has convenient access to Peachtree City’s Atlanta Regional Airport, Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and Peachtree City’s Falcon Field Airport, and overlooks the city’s prestigious Planterra golf course. The location could not have been better suited from not only a logistics point of view but also for a serene and peaceful ambience. Since the move, Aventure has expanded and acquired new commercial Airbus and Boeing inventory as well as Lockheed C130/L100 inventory. Due to rapid growth, Aventure now plans to add sales associates for both the military and commercial divisions.
