Atlanta Aviation, an Aventure company, at the Airline Network Forum. Aventure attended the 69th Annual Air Carriers Purchasing Conference (ACPC), which was held August 29–September 1, at the Grande Lakes Resort in Orlando, Florida. ACPC is among the industry's leading events for aircraft parts suppliers, manufacturers, and airline procurement professionals. Aventure representatives included Mike Thatch, president of Atlanta Aviation, and Aventure's directors of strategic accounts Kevin Lang and Stefan Shemaitis. Atlanta Aviation, an Aventure company, was featured at the Airline Network Forum. The one-day exhibition is where aviation suppliers showcase their goods and services to airline buyers. Aventure Aviation will attend the Marrakech Air Show, taking place October 7–10 at the Royal Moroccan Air Force Base in Marrakech, Morocco. The event is one of Africa's premier aerospace and defense exhibitions, bringing together military officials, government leaders, OEMs, suppliers, and aviation professionals from around the world. It serves as a key platform for showcasing innovation and strengthening international partnerships. Captain Sully to Join National Aviation Hall of Fame This Month
This Month Captain Chesley Burnett "Sully" Sullenberger will receive one of aviation's highest honors when he is enshrined in the National Aviation Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2026. The 62nd Annual Enshrinement Ceremony will take place September 24 at The Anthem in Washington, D.C. Best known for his heroic landing of US Airways Flight 1549 on New York's Hudson River in 2009—saving the lives of all 155 people on board—Sullenberger has become a global symbol of professionalism, leadership, and aviation safety. With this honor, Captain Sully will forever stand alongside the greatest pioneers in aviation history, including Orville and Wilbur Wright, Amelia Earhart, Charles Lindbergh, and Neil Armstrong. The US Airways Airbus A320 is on display at the Sullenberger Aviation Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina. The National Aviation Hall of Fame was founded in 1962 in Dayton, Ohio, the "Birthplace of Aviation," and granted a national charter by the U.S. Congress. "It's a fitting tribute to a pilot who has inspired aviators around the world," said Aventure brand marketing manager Hala Faruqi.
