Aventure to Exhibit at C-130 Hercules Aircraft Shows
Aventure will exhibit at the 2012 Hercules Operators Council (HOC) and the C-130 TCG World Wide Review this month, and can be visited at booth 51 and booth 217 respectively.

Hosted by Lockheed Martin, HOC will take place October 22–25 at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. Hosted by the Technical Coordination Group (TCG), the World Wide Review will take place October 29 – November 1 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Both conferences are platforms for foreign C-130 aircraft operators, customers, suppliers, and service centers, to share information regarding operational, technical, and maintenance issues.

Representing Aventure at both conferences will be Amyr Qureshi, Senior VP, Carlos Crespo, VP of Military Business Development, and Vic Daniel, Director of Military Sales. Walid Zaatarah, Managing Director of Aventure Aviation Middle East, will also attend on behalf of Aventure’s Dubai office.

“This is our third year exhibiting at both conferences,” Crespo said. “We look forward to networking with our established international customers and building new relationships with Hercules operators around the world."

Aventure Receives Honor from Inc. Magazine as One of the Fastest-Growing Private Companies in USA

Aventure Aviation attended the Inc. 500/5000 award ceremony to accept the distinction as one of America’s fastest-growing private companies.

The ceremony took place on October 5 at the JW Marriot Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. Aventure’s Director of Sales Hamzah Faruqi, and Office Manager Luz Cardenas were in attendance.

“Making the Inc. 500/5000 list is a big achievement, but to do it two years in a row and to improve our ranking is huge,” Mr. Faruqi said. “It is an exciting time to be part of a growing and successful company.”

Aventure ranked #2071 on the list, among notable previous honorees such as Microsoft,Timberland, Zappos, and Oracle.

Aventure Named Finalist for Governor’s Award

Aventure was named a finalist in the International Trade Category of the 4th Annual Atlanta World Showcase Governor’s International Awards. Hosted by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and the World Trade Center Atlanta, the award ceremony took place at the Atlanta Convention Center on October 4.

The International Trade Category recognizes companies having the greatest impact on the state of Georgia’s imports and exports. As of January 2012, 72% of Aventure’s sales derived from exports.

Aventure was previously awarded by the U.S. Small Business Administration as the 2009 Exporter of the Year for the Southeast region and the State of Georgia.

Aéro Montréal Global Supply Chain Summit Attended by Aventure

Senior VP Amyr Qureshi represented Aventure at the Aéro Montréal Global Supply Chain Summit, which took place September 26-28 at the Palais de Congres in Montréal, Canada.

During this well-attended, high-level summit, original equipment manufacturers (OEM) addressed U.S. and Canadian suppliers in various areas of the aerospace supply chain.

Attendees participated in one-on-one B2B meetings, workshops, and networked with industry leaders. They visited the production and assembly facilities of Bombardier, Pratt & Whitney Canada, and Bell Textron.

Speakers and attendees included high-ranking government officials from Canada and the United States.

Aventure Joins ACPC Exhibitors in Las Vegas

Aventure exhibited at the 56th Annual Air Carriers Purchasing Conference (ACPC), held August 18-21 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The conference brings together buyers and sellers of aviation related goods and services, and aims to create a fair and level environment for attendees to share their agendas.

Attending on behalf of Aventure was Senior Director of Sales Melissa Coleman-Grina and Commercial Sales Account Manager Jordan Yohr.

“Our industry is like one big family, and ACPC is like a family reunion,” said Mr. Yohr.

Aventure Attends Aircraft Interiors Expo in Seattle

Melissa Coleman-Grina, Aventure’s Senior Director of Sales, attended the third annual Aircraft Interiors Expo Americas, held Sept. 25-28 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle.

The conference is the only show in the Americas dedicated to aircraft interiors, making it a valuable networking opportunity for suppliers and manufacturers.
