Aventure to Sponsor AMC Safety Wiring Event at MRO Americas in Miami Beach
Aventure Aviation Recipient of Georgia Small Business ROCK STARS Award

Aventure Aviation is sponsoring the Aerospace Maintenance Competition’s (AMC) Safety Wiring event, taking place at Aviation Week’s MRO Americas 2015, April 14-16 in Miami Beach, Florida.

Safety wiring prevents fasteners from loosening or falling out due to vibration. A wire is threaded through a hole in a fastener, twisted, then typically anchored to another fastener. The event will test each participant’s skill and speed while accomplishing a series of safety wire patterns.

Participants will include aircraft maintenance technicians and engineers, aviation school students, and technicians from multi-national Armed Forces.

“As an aircraft parts supplier to the aviation industry, Aventure recognizes the importance of the aviation technicians who install these parts,” said Melissa Coleman-Grina, Senior Director of Business Development at Aventure Aviation.

Support for the Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance

Aventure Aviation is proud to annonce it is a "Supporting Investor" for the Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance, as part of its efforts to give back to both the aviation industry and local community.

Launched last March, the Alliance consists of busineses, local governments, and other stakeholders with a vested interest in the greater Atlanta (Georgia, USA) airport area. The organization's aim is to enhance Atlanta’s position as a global economic leader with a vision of transforming the airport vicinity into a world-class aerotropolis.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the world's busiest, serves some 250,000 passengers and moves almost 2,000 metric tons of freight each day.

Aventure Attends MRO Middle East in Dubai
Aventure Aviation: MRO Middle East
Walid Zaatarah (far right), Managing Director of Aventure Aviation Middle East, meets with representatives of MSI Middle East.

Aventure attended MRO Middle East, held February 2–3 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, in Dubai, UAE. The event is billed as the region's leading Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO) exhibition and conference for commercial aviation maintenance. Unlike air shows which attract a wide range of visitors, MRO Middle East's focus is on commercial aircraft MROs.

"This year's event was rich with decision makers," commented Walid Zaatarah, Managing Director of Aventure Aviation Middle East. "We had great meetings and anticipate building long-term relationships with our new contacts."
