Aventure Aviation Receives Georgia Small Business ROCK STARS Award
ROCK STARS: Georgia's Commissioner Chris Carr (front center) with individuals from team Aventure, the Georgia Department of Economic Development, EXIM Bank, SBA, SBDC, Fayette Chamber of Commerce, and the Mayor of Peachtree City.
Aventure Aviation received a Georgia Small Business ROCK STARS Award at a reception hosted by the Department of Economic Development and the Georgia Economic Developers Association (GEDA) on March 16.
The award recognizes outstanding, out-of-the-box, unique and impactful small businesses in the U.S. state of Georgia.
“Aventure is honored,” said Zaheer Faruqi, President of Aventure Aviation. “We have been supported by the state in many ways and have reached out to the Georgia Department of Economic Development for guidance on several occasions.”
“Last September, Aventure participated in its first trade mission to China,” Faruqi continued. “The Georgia office in Shanghai did an excellent job familiarizing us with business practices in China. Without this 'start-up' help, there is no way we could have initiated the business relationship. Based on the recent success, Aventure will participate in an aviation trade show in Beijing later this year.”
Aventure to Exhibit at MRO Americas in Miami Beach
Aventure Aviation will exhibit at booth 4747 at Aviation Week’s MRO Americas 2015, April 14-16 in Miami Beach, Florida.
The MRO Americas conference and exhibition is a leading international event for the aviation MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) industry. The event brings together decision-makers from airlines and suppliers to discuss critical issues, and provide insight into the most current developments and trends in this sector.
Conference attendees who wish to schedule a meeting with an Aventure representative can contact Melissa Coleman-Grina, Senior Director of Business Development, before or during the show at email@example.com or +1.678.860.6903.

The event will test each participant’s skill and speed while doing safety wire patterns. Aventure's booth, located across from the AMC competition, will give visitors an opportunity to try safety wiring, and for a chance to win a Leatherman Wingman Handy Tool.
