Aventure Aviation exhibited at the Dubai Airshow, held November 8–12, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Aventure’s leadership hailed the biennial event a huge success for the company.

Among the numerous visitors to Aventure’s booth was Governor Nathan Deal of the U.S. state of Georgia, where Aventure is headquartered. Governor Deal was accompanied by a high-level delegation of dignitaries, including Commissioner Chris Carr and Mary Waters, Deputy Commissioner, International Trade of the Georgia Department of Economic Development. The Governor expressed appreciation at Aventure’s efforts to promote Atlanta and the state of Georgia inside the UAE.

The UAE and the United States have seen bilateral trade increase about 80% in the last ten years. For the past six years, the UAE has been the largest trading partner for the U.S. in the Middle East with $25 billion in bilateral trade and over $19 billion in trade surplus in 2014 alone.

“This was our fifth time exhibiting at the prestigious Dubai Airshow,” commented Amyr Qureshi, Senior Vice President of Aventure Aviation. “Approximately 15% of our revenues are generated from the Middle East, and we are pleased to bring revenues back to Georgia by selling U.S. manufactured aviation products.”

Aventure Expands Sales Network in MENA Region

Aventure Aviation has expanded its sales network in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, focusing on Egypt and the French-speaking countries of North Africa.

Based in Rabat, Morocco, Nabila will focus on the French-speaking countries in North Africa, including Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria. Nabila completed her Master’s degree from École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées (ENSTA ParisTech) and holds an MBA degree from National School of Trading and Commerce in Morocco.

Haytham is based in Cairo and will focus on the Egyptian market. He received an Executive Master of Business Administration from Alexandria University in Egypt and Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business.

About two dozen Aventure staff members collected food and household items for the Real Life Center’s food pantry for the holiday season. A total of 3,961 pounds of food and household items were donated by Aventure staff.

Established in 1998, the Real Life Center is a highly respected non-profit organization in Atlanta, serving families in the US State of Georgia experiencing unexpected hard times. They provide "a hand up and not a handout," with each client receiving a customized one-year plan which promotes long term-change. From January to October 2015, the center’s food pantry has served 448,563 pounds of food and served 5,170 families.

"It was great to participate in the food drive because it gave me the opportunity to help make a difference in my community,” commented Joletta Redd, Aventure’s Data Entry Clerk.

"Our community is fortunate that organizations like the Real Life Center give so much back to those who need it most,” added Christian Jackson, Aventure’s Warehouse Assistant. "To have been a small part of the good work they do was a humbling experience.”
