Congressman Visits Aventure Headquarters
Local and Global Issues Discussed with Representative Ferguson

Congressman Drew Ferguson Visits Aventure Aviation's Atlanta Operations in Peachtree City.

Congressman Drew Ferguson, Representative for Georgia's 3rd District, toured Aventure Aviation's Atlanta headquarters in Peachtree City.

He met with the team members to discuss workforce development and how to keep the district competitive globally. He emphasized that local businesses are critical economic drivers and job creators, whose success helps communities and neighbors succeed.

The congressman was briefed on opportunities Aventure offers to high school and college students as well as employee efforts giving back to the community.


Aventure to Speak at Aviation Events in March

Aventure Aviation will speak at the 2018 Supplier Opportunities and Resources (SOAR) Conference for Aerospace and Defense on Wednesday, March 7. The conference will be held at the Middle Georgia State University Conference Center in Macon. 

On Thursday, March 15, Aventure will speak at the SpeedNews 32nd Annual Commercial Aviation Suppliers Conference in Beverley Hills, California. Event organizers are expecting a major turnout of attendees. The topic of Aventure’s presentation is "EXIM Bank: A Win-Win Solution for Suppliers and Our Economy."


Aventure Intern Receives Scholarship to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

Aventure intern Jodie Harmon at the Peachtree City Rowing Club after signing her scholarship commitment letter.

Aventure's high school intern, Jodie Harmon, recently signed a letter of acceptance for a four-year rowing scholarship to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. 

Harmon will major in Aviation Business Administration and row for their Division II team. She is the first athlete in the new Peachtree City Rowing Club to receive a full college rowing scholarship, and said her experience at Aventure Aviation influenced her decision to pursue aviation business.  

"I know my Aventure Aviation experience will help me excel at Embry-Riddle and in my future career path," Harmon said. "My knowledge and love for aviation has grown tremendously working at Aventure."


Aventure Sponsors Midwest Food Bank Dinner

Aventure Aviation sponsors the 2nd annual Midwest Food Bank Harvest of Blessings Dinner.

Aventure Aviation was an event sponsor at the 2nd annual Midwest Food Bank Harvest of Blessings Dinner.

The Midwest Food Bank in Georgia is a faith-based organization, whose mission is to alleviate hunger and poverty by gathering and distributing food donations to not-for-profits and disaster sites without cost to the recipients.

The food bank serves over 300 nonprofit organizations and distributes over 30,000 cases of food monthly. Aventure team members volunteer at the food bank by sorting and organizing pallets of food donations.


Caped Team Aventure Supports Patients at Children's Hospital

Aventure staff at Atlanta Operations don capes to support Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Aventure team members unite to show support for the CHOA superhero patients.

Aventure team members came together for "Cape Day" by wearing a cape and sending a message of suppprt to young patients battling illness at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA).

Cape Day launched in 2014 as a way for children and adults to show support and honor kids who spend their days in the hospital battling medical challenges.

Aventure staff also donated funds to purchase much needed items from the hospital’s wish list.


Aventure to Judge 2018 Atlanta Metro Export Challenge

Aventure Aviation has been invited to be a panel judge of the 2018 Atlanta Metro Export Challenge, a JPMorgan Chase-powered grant program created to support the exporting programs of metro Atlanta companies.

Talha Faruqi, Aventure's Vice President of Operations, will represent Aventure to help determine the winner in this "Shark Tank"-style pitch competition.
