Finance and Leasing Companies Network with Aventure at San Diego ISTAT Americas
Aventure Aviation attended the annual conference of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT), held March 4–6 in San Diego, California. ISTAT′s mission is to provide the highest quality and best-value networking and education opportunities in commercial aviation.
Held at the Marriot Marquis and Marina, the conference provided Aventure with a single location to meet with their partners in finance and leasing, and network with various aircraft traders and financial institutions.
"Over 60 percent of the world's aircraft fleet are owned by leasing companies and we look forward to working with these institutions to acquire more aircraft," said Talha Faruqi, Aventure′s VP of Operations.
Aventure was hosted at an evening social event by the law firm of Smith, Gambrell and Russell (SGR), which advised Aventure on their recent purchase of a former United Air Lines Boeing 757.
"We want to thank SGR for their generous hospitality," added Faruqi.
Team Aventure Raises Money for Atlanta
Ronald McDonald House Charities
Little Things Can Make a Big Difference
Employees of Aventure Aviation have been inspired by the phrase "Little things can make a big difference."
They have been actively collecting metal tabs in an effort to raise funds for the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities, which provides housing and other services to families with a sick child in the hospital.
By collecting the little tabs pulled to open soda, soup or other aluminum cans, participants help support a national program that benefits Ronald McDonald House families. Funds generated from recycling these "aluminum gems" help offset expenses.
