Aventure Military Division Ready for F-16 TCG

Aventure Aviation

Aventure Aviation′s military division is ready to attend the F-16 TCG (Technical Coordination Group) World Wide Review, to be held September 1013 at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center in the U.S. state of Utah. Attending will be Aventure's Senior Vice President Amyr Qureshi, Director of Military Sales Osman Faruqi, and Military Sales Rep Adrian Gallard.

The event is the annual capstone service provided by the TCG, allowing member countries operating the F-16 fighter jet to gather in one location to discuss common configuration, maintenance, and logistics issues, and meet with qualified vendors, engineers, specialists and program managers for possible solutions.

"This is a great opportunity to enhance our relationships with our customers and suppliers," stated Adrian. "Not to mention engage new long term relationships."

Aventure′s military division was formed in 2010, in response to a growing demand for parts and services for the Lockheed Martin C-130 transport. It has since expanded to support the F-16, and other key military aircraft. Aventure is also an approved supplier to Lockheed Martin and Rolls-Royce authorized service centers worldwide.

Aventure Attends ACPC in Orlando

Aventure Aviation attended the 2018 Air Carriers Purchasing Conference (ACPC), held August 18–21 in Orlando, Florida, at the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes Hotels.

The annual conference brings together buyers and sellers of aviation related goods and services, with a structure that emphasizes networking. It provides both a business and social agenda, with ample opportunities for attendees to develop relationships. This year′s theme was "When Generations Connect."

Representing Aventure was Melissa Coleman-Grina, Senior Director of Sales, and Ebrahim Zakaria, Outside Sales Representative.

"It was great to see so many of our new and old customers and vendors," said Melissa. "The event was extremely productive for Aventure Aviation."

Cancer Research Supported by Aventure

Alan and Jan Taylor (left) join two other couples in preparation for the cancer bike ride.

Aventure Aviation′s Director of Business Development for Europe, Alan Taylor, will ride in Cycling4Cancer, taking place September 11 in the U.K.

Alan′s efforts will raise money and awareness in support of vital cancer research, with proceeds going to the London-based charity Cancer Research UK. "Cancer really hits when it affects your family or friends. My wife Jan was diagnosed following a routine examination, and in an instant, our lives changed," said Alan.

"Fortunately, following chemo, she has been declared cancer free. Without the research we could have been looking at a different scenario...for this reason, I feel a need to help others," he added.

Alan is grateful to have the support of Aventure while he took time off to look after his wife while she recovered. He encourages people to support his cause by helping with his cancer research fundraising efforts.
