Aventure Military Divison to Attend C-130 HOC

The military division of Aventure Aviation will attend the 30th annual Hercules Operators Conference (HOC), in Aventure′s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, on October 1518. Hosted by Lockheed Martin, the event will be held at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel & Convention Center. The theme is "Innovative and Collaborative Sustainment Solutions."

The conference will feature over 80 exhibitors, social events, networking, and briefings on the C-130 and other variants of Hercules aircraft.

"Aventure has been at HOC since 2010, and it always provides us with great opportunities to meet with the international air forces we support every day…not only at the conference, but at our headquarters as well," said Osman Faruqi, Aventure′s Director of Military Sales.


Aventure Signs Additional Distribution Agreement with InterConnect Wiring

Aventure Aviation signs distribution deal with InterConnect Wiring

Aventure Aviation has been granted distribution rights in Morocco for InterConnect Wiring, adding to their current distribution in the United Arab Emirates. The agreement was signed during last month′s F-16 TCG conference in Ogden, Utah. InterConnect is a world leading manufacturer and supplier of military aerospace electrical products, and is the exclusive F-16 electrical products licensee to Lockheed Martin.

"(We are) pleased to have Aventure working on distributing our C-130 and F-16 wiring harnesses, related accessories, electrical power panels, circuit breaker panels, and other similar assemblies," said John Ashour, President of InterConnect Wiring. "We are confident on Aventure′s presence in the selected countries."

"We are once again honored to be a distributor for InterConnect Wiring," said Aventure′s Director of Military Sales, Osman Faruqi. "Their longstanding and proven expertise enables us to further support our C-130 and F-16 operators."

"The addition of Morocco gives us more opportinities to assist additional end users in resolving wiring issues in the interest of flight safety and enhanced avionics reliabiliity," added Aventure′s Senior Vice President, Amyr Qureshi.


Manufacturing Summit Featured Aventure

Aventure Aviation spoke at the 4th annual Georgia Manufacturing Summit, attended by over 800 manufacturing professionals from across the southeast United States. The summit theme was "Georgia Manufacturing–Flying High," and featured speakers from Georgia′s booming aerospace industry.

The all day conference took place October 10 at the Cobb Gallery Centre, in Atlanta. Aventure′s presentation was entitled "International Manufacturing–Building Domestic Growth and a Competitive Edge Through Exports."


EXIM Bank Exporting in Latin America Workshop to Feature Aventure Aviation

Aventure Aviation will be a panelist at the EXIM Customer for MBE Export Workshop, at the "Exporting in Latin America: Opportunities, Environment and Resources" event taking place October 26, at the Centergy Building, in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Export-Import Bank (EXIM) is a federal agency that helps American businesses sell their products abroad by providing loans to foreign businesses. Aventure′s presentation will share the company′s export experiences navigating the international business development process.

Get to Know Aventure | Lyly Cao - Government Sales Manager

Lyly Cao is Aventure′s Government Sales Manager, and supports Aventure′s tenders and contracts for the U.S. government and international air forces. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Georgia State University. She began interning at Aventure in 2015 while in college, and became a government sales representative after graduating. She was recently promoted to manager.

She enjoys learning about various air forces, and how different governments have their own methods to procure their requirements. Every year, she participates in Aventure′s food drive for the Real Life Center. In her spare time, Lyly likes to spend time with her fiancé and dog. She enjoys drawing and trying new restaurants. The most interesting place she has traveled to is Vietnam, her family′s home country.
