"Outstanding Exporter" Honor to Aventure

Aventure will be recognized as an outstanding exporter at the 2019 National Small Business Exporter Summit, to be held April 9 at the DeSoto Hotel in Savannah, Georgia. Aventure will also be a speaker and presenter.

The company's presentation "Exporting Rhapsody–Battling to Win from the Front Line Trenches" will highlight their 18 years of international sales in over 45 countries. Aventure Aviation moderated a panel at The American Express Summit for Success, which took place March 28 at the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel in Atlanta. The event attracted business owners, entrepreneurs, exporters and government agencies.

During the panel "The Exporting Team You Didn't Know You Have: Local, State and Federal Resources for Growth," Aventure shared their exporting experience as related to logistics, compliance, and insurance. The company's international exports generate 65% of its annual revenue.

"Our goal was to provide an engaging and interactive presentation which led to a lively Q&A session," said panel participant Talha Faruqi, Aventure's VP of Operations. "The audience asked excellent questions and were surprised at the availability of resources they could tap into."

Aventure Awards Student Scholarships

Aventure Aviation has continued its tradition of awarding three scholarships to students pursuing their education in a maintenance technician program in a US school meeting FAA standards. The 2019 scholarships were awarded through the Northrop Rice Foundation.

The first scholarship, reserved for an international student, was awarded to Zacharie Halens Francois. The other recipients are Christopher Singh and Christopher Hochenburger. Recipients were announced at the Aviation Technician Education Council annual conference, held March 17–20 in Washington, D.C.

"I will use my education to expose young Haitians to aviation to help them aspire for something greater," said Mr. Francois. "I was once in that position...all they need is an opportunity."
