Aventure Acquires Two CRJ200s for Teardown Aventure Aviation has acquired for teardown two Bombardier CRJ200 airframes (MSN 7344 and 7397) from Beautech Power Systems. The dismantling is currently underway in Kingman, Arizona, USA. "This purchase continues Aventure's strategic support for our CRJ200 customers," said Aventure Vice President, Talha Faruqi. "This workhorse aircraft continues to be a key part of the US legacy airlines' network, as a substantial number of CRJ200 flights are still operated through their feeders," he added. All harvested parts will be inspected on-site, and shipped to Aventure's main facilities in Peachtree City, Georgia, USA, located near Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Once refurbished, the parts will soon be available to end users on an exchange as well as outright sale basis. Interested parties can contact rfq@aventureaviation.com. World Trade Center Atlanta invites Aventure Aventure Aviation will speak to members and guests of the World Trade Center (WTC) Atlanta, at a monthly networking event offered by International Business Exchange (IBE). The event will take place at the Atlanta law offices of Ogletree Deakins on January 28. Stories will be shared of Aventure's success and lessons learned spanning their 20 years in business. They will also discuss future business opportunities of interest to both Aventure and attendees. "Our organization enables executives to learn from, connect with, and gain access to many of Atlanta's most influential global leaders," said Max Sutherland, President & CEO, World Trade Center Atlanta. IBE offers a semi-structured format to accelerate learning what others are doing locally and in the global international community, and foster business connections that lead to strategic partnerships. Employees of Aventure volunteered on January 14 at the Real Life Center, located near Aventure's Atlanta headquarters in Peachtree City, Georgia. They helped sort, pack, and distribute food and disaster relief donations. "It feels good to give back," said Aventure Office Manager Chelsea Sneed. "Money is always something people need, but giving one's time is priceless." The Real Life Center provides food, clothing, educational programs, and counseling to needy families of Fayette and Coweta Counties in Georgia. They operate their own orchard, which provides fresh seasonal fruit. The center also runs a mobile food pantry, which also distributes vegetables, canned goods, and baked goods. Joshua Hust is an accountant for Aventure Aviation, based in the company's Atlanta headquarters. He has been with Aventure since October 2019. A primary responsibility of his job is to handle company transactions and the reconciliation of accounts. He is a native of Peachtree City, Georgia, where he graduated from McIntosh High School. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at Young Harris College, earned in only three years. In his spare time, Joshua loves to mentally challenge himself with math and trivia. He also enjoys skiing in the mountains. |
