Aventure Acquires Boeing 757 to Dismantle

Aventure Aviation's newly acquired Boeing 757 in Goodyear, Arizona.

Aventure Aviation has acquired for teardown a Boeing 757-200 (MSN 27208). The airframe will be dismantled in Goodyear, Arizona. All harvested parts will be inspected on-site, and shipped to Aventure's main facilities located near Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Last operated by La Compagnie, the aircraft was removed from service at the end of 2019. The airframe includes landing gear with four years of green time, winglets, APU, RB211 AD-compliant nacelles, and an all business class interior. The engines have already been leased.

"The continued grounding of the 737 Max has forced airlines to further lean on their 757s, which has pushed their planned retirements for at least a couple more years. As a result, we are seeing stronger demand from both airlines and freight carriers to support their operations," said Aventure Vice President, Talha Faruqi.

Increased Supply of Harvested Parts

During the last six months, Aventure has acquired five Boeing and Bombardier airframes, consisting of a 777, two 757s, and two CRJ200s. Other aircraft are also presently under consideration. All removed parts will be sent to MRO shops for refurbishment. They will then be available to end users from Aventure's Atlanta Headquarters.

With an increasing amount of parts for refurbishment, Aventure is looking to forge new relationships and discuss business opportunities with airframe component repair & overhaul shops. Interested parties should request an initial teleconference or video call by sending an appointment request, along with their capability list to info@aventureaviation.com.

Aventure is also looking for machine and fabrication shops experienced in manufacturing military aircraft structural parts to fulfill existing contracts.

Aventure Thanks our Medical Professionals

Aventure staffers Joshua Hust and Chelsea Sneed load supplies headed for Piedmont Hospital, in Fayetteville Georgia.

Medical staff and caregivers at hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes are challenged with long work hours while saving lives and facing serious health issues. Aventure Aviation greatly appreciates the work being done by all first responders facing the global pandemic.

Aventure's Office Manager, Chelsea Sneed and Staff Accountant, Joshua Hust, delivered nutritious snacks, energy drinks, and healthy refreshments to the medical staff of Piedmont Hospital on March 27.

Piedmont is a 282-bed, acute care community hospital located in Fayetteville, Georgia, serving the local area where Aventure's Atlanta headquarters is based.

"It was a small gesture of appreciation, as we realize how valuable they are to our community," said Chelsea.

The SASH Monkey Wrench Robotics team, a participant in the FIRST Robotics Competition, has advanced to the 2020 FIRST Championship. The four-day annual event involves the winners of regional competitions, where teams of middle and high school-aged students design, build, and program a robot to play a floor game against other team's robots.

Last year's competition involved 3,790 teams, 94,750 youths, and 28,350 adult supporters in 33 countries. The SASH team, sponsored by Aventure Aviation, consists of students based in Peachtree City, Georgia, home to Aventure’s Atlanta headquarters.

SASH earned the right to advance after their performance at the regional FIRST Tech Challenge Georgia State Championships, held February 22, at the Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta, Georgia. They won third place in their division and were named "Captain of the Winning Alliance."

The global competition is organized by FIRST Robotics, a nonprofit that aims to combine the excitement of sports with the rigors of science and technology. Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students develop valuable science, technology, engineering, and math skills—while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and sharing ideas.
