Aventure Reaches Out to Attendees of Postponed C-130 and F-16 Conferences

C-130 and F-16 aircraft in flight

Aventure Aviation is reaching out to C-130 and F-16 operators in light of three leading military aircraft conferences scheduled for this fall being postponed until next year. They are the C-130 Hercules Operators Council (HOC), C-130 Technical Coordination Group (TCG), and F-16 TCG.

Held annually, HOC is hosted by Lockheed Martin in Aventure Aviation's hometown of Atlanta, where the C-130 is assembled. The event provides attendees a convenient way to visit the Aventure headquarters. With face-to-face meetings not viable this year, Aventure is available for virtual meetings with customers and suppliers.

Aventure supplies aircraft parts and manages component repairs for the global defense industry. The company represents manufacturing and fabrication shops keen to supply their products and services to foreign militaries, but lack Aventure's expertise and resources. Aventure has consistently won long-term contracts for its partners in the aftermarket support industry.

Registered with the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Aventure is an International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant company, licensed to sell parts to approved foreign countries. In compliance with the regulations of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Aventure stocks and sells parts which normally fall under the category of an explosive – such as squibs used in fire-extinguishing bottles.

Aventure is known in the industry for providing 7/24/365 mission-critical services. Interested parties can contact them with their requirements.

Commercial Aircraft Air Recirculation

Cutaway diagram of air circulation on commercial aircraft interior

Most commercial aircraft use High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters, which capture a minimum of 99.9% of contaminants, such as viruses, bacteria, pollen and dust.

For example, the Boeing 737 has two HEPA filters located in the forward cargo compartment back wall. The cabin air is recirculated through the grill vents located at the bottom of the cabin sidewalls at floor level. Recirculation fans pull the cabin air, pass it through the HEPA filters, mix it with pure outside air, then re-enters the passenger cabin at ceiling height.

By constantly adding fresh air from the atmosphere, the air in the passenger cabin is extremely clean and less polluted and contaminated than that found at ground level.

Customers can contact Aventure Aviation at rfq@aventureaviation.com to inquire about various filters (air, water, fuel, oil) for their fleet.

Quote of the month

The air up there in the clouds is very pure and fine, bracing and delicious. And why shouldn't it be? —it is the same the angels breathe.
Mark Twain

Let's view the clouds from above. It's time to fly.
