October 2020 – The Newsletter of Aventure Aviation Sizeable Embraer E-Jet Parts Inventory Aventure Aviation is now offering a significant additional inventory of Embraer E190 aircraft parts. This acquisition increases Aventure's capability to support the entire Embraer E-Jet family, which is known for efficiently serving lower-demand routes with many of the same amenities and features of larger jets. The inventory belongs to four harvested E190s, which has common parts used with the E170, E175, and E195 models. "As the air travel industry slowly rebounds, airlines have found Embraer's 70 to 132 seating capacity ideal for their lighter passenger loads," said Ebrahim Zakaria, Aventure's Sales Director. Major Embraer operators include Aeromexico, Austral Lineas Aereas, Azul Airlines, BA CityFlyer, Envoy, Jet Blue, KLM City Hopper, Mesa Airlines, Republic Airways, Skywest Airlines, and Tianjin Airlines. Aventure Increases Military MRO Business Aventure Aviation has seen a recent increase in component maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) work from air forces operating C-130, F-18, F-16, F-15, and F-5 aircraft, along with various helicopter models. With the inception of its military division in 2010, Aventure has established itself as a component MRO one-stop-shop for the world's air forces, and a leading parts supplier and distributor for original equipment manufacturers. "We provide timely and detailed status reports of all parts under our management," said Ron Taylo, Aventure's Operations Manager of Military Sales. "Our customers have found they can save time and money by outsourcing this function," he continued. "We take pride in keeping component repair costs within budget," added Nikki Brewer, Aventure's Purchasing and Repair Administrator. Consignment Tips From Aventure
Due to the downturn in the aviation industry, airlines, leasing companies and fund managers have found themselves with excess inventory of aircraft and parts. "The road to recovery appears to be long, and aircraft owners are paying for storage, parking, maintenance, leasing, interest, and insurance–with no immediate way to recover those funds," said Andrew Crombie, a commercial sales representative for Aventure. "Under such circumstances, we recommend they consign these assets to recoup some of the lost opportunities and revenue." "A successful consignment process requires a dependable consignee with proven experience, strong customer relationships, and the ability to review technical records to ascertain a true current value," added Amyr Qureshi, Aventure's Senior Vice President. "In case of a teardown, the consignee must have experience providing oversight, and expertise in selecting which parts must be harvested off the aircraft," Amyr continued. "Logistics must also be considered. The storage location must allow fast shipping to almost any destination in the world."
