Aventure Receives Presidential Award for Excellence in Export

The U.S. Department of Commerce awarded Aventure Aviation with the President's "E" Award for Exports at the Department of Commerce in Washington, DC on November 5. This is the highest recognition any U.S. entity can receive for a significant contribution to the expansion of U.S. exports.

"Aventure Aviation has demonstrated a sustained commitment to export expansion. The "E" Awards Committee was very impressed with Aventure Aviation's export sales to 43 countries. The company's volunteer work to help other businesses expand through exporting was also particularly notable. Aventure Aviation's achievements have undoubtedly contributed to national export expansion efforts that support the U.S. economy and create American jobs," said Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo in her congratulatory letter to Aventure.

Aventure Aviation is a commercial and military aircraft parts supplier headquartered in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Aventure has been in business for 20 years and has more than 1,600 customers, with international business accounting for over 70% of sales.

"Exporting is an important part of our business," said Aventure Aviation CEO Zaheer Faruqi. "Buyers and consumers in foreign markets want quality products made in the U.S., and we are honored to receive this prestigious recognition."

Aventure to Exhibit at Dubai Airshow

Aventure Aviation will exhibit at the 2021 Dubai Airshow, taking place November 14–18 at Dubai's Al Maktoum Airport in the United Arab Emirates. Aventure's stand, #1696, will be located inside the USA Partnership Pavilion.

This highly anticipated biennial event is the first major global airshow to take place since 2019. Exhibitors from around the world will showcase their latest offerings, while attendees will enjoy flying displays of commercial and military aircraft.

Significant aircraft orders are typically announced during the Dubai Airshow. The 2019 show had $54.5 billion in new orders.

"Our team has participated since the very first show back in 1989, and we have exhibited since 2003," said Aventure's Senior Vice President Amyr Qureshi. "We look forward to welcoming guests to our stand, where both our commercial and military teams will be available."

Military Team Exhibits at C-130 TCG World Wide Review in Orlando

Aventure exhibited at the C-130 Technical Coordination Group (TCG) World Wide Review, held Oct 25–29 in Orlando, Florida. The annual event brings together operators, parts suppliers, and repair shops that support the C-130 Hercules aircraft.

The C-130 is a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft designed and built by Lockheed Martin 20 miles away from Aventure Aviation's Atlanta warehouse.

Aventure was represented by Ron Taylo, operations manager for military sales, Osman Faruqi, director of military sales, and Maria-Julia Lacey, military sales representative.

"We have participated at this event the past ten years," said Maria-Julia. "It's an excellent venue to network with customers, suppliers, and shops, and learn about issues we all face."

"With more than 150 vendors from over 30 nations attending, it was a fantastic opportunity to network," commented Ron.

"Since it didn't take place last year due to the pandemic, this year's event was a much needed opportunity," added Osman.
