Successful but Challenging Year Recalled at Holiday Luncheon

At Aventure's holiday luncheon: (L–R) Gov. Sales Manager Lyly Cao, Military Sales Rep. Maria Julia Lacey, and Office Manager Chelsea Griffin.

The Aventure team enjoyed a company get-together at their satellite warehouse facility by the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, followed by a holiday lunch celebration at the nearby Porsche Experience Center.

President Talha Faruqi reflected on the challenges and successes of 2021, and discussed the company's strategies for future growth. He reminded the team of Aventure's core values and need to give back to the community.

Talha highlighted the past year's community activities, including donating food to the Real Life Center, speaking at White Water High School, hosting Aviation Institute of Maintenance students, and supporting aviation programs at Starr Mills High School.

The team was thanked for their successful efforts supporting customers during a challenging year due to the pandemic. Talha also mentioned staff members who met with customers at nearly a dozen trade shows around the world.

"As you all know, we celebrated 20 years in business this year," Talha addressed the team. "Based on our ability to thrive the last two challenging years, we are confident that Aventure can look forward to the next 20 years…and beyond!"

Aventure Exhibits at Dubai Airshow

Aventure staff meet with a guest at their Dubai Airshow stand.

Aventure Aviation exhibited at the 2021 Dubai Airshow, which took place November 14–18 at Dubai's Al Maktoum Airport in the United Arab Emirates.

This was the first major global airshow to take place since the start of the pandemic. Exhibitors from around the world showcased their latest products and services. Aventure has exhibited at every Dubai Airshow since 2003.

"It was great to be at a huge live event where we could see our guests in person," said Ron Taylo, Aventure's operations manager of military sales. "We had very productive meetings with existing customers and potential new customers alike."

"We always look to forge new partnerships with the right companies, so we can serve our customers even better," said Amyr Qureshi, Aventure's senior vice president. "The Dubai Airshow is a great forum for us to establish new markets."

"Our corner exhibition in the USA Partnership Pavilion drew a lot of attention," Ron added.

At the Dubai Airshow, Aventure Senior VP Amyr Qureshi (L) meets Charles Duke, the tenth and youngest astronaut to walk on the Moon (Apollo 16).
