January 2022 – The Newsletter of Aventure Aviation Aventure’s Hometown Airport Once Again World’s Busiest Aventure's hometown airport, Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, is once again the world's busiest by passenger traffic. It had that distinction since 1998, but lost to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in 2020 due to effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. "It's gratifying to see that Atlanta once again has the world's busiest airport," said President of Aventure Aviation, Talha Faruqi. "Not to mention the recent accolades for Delta." Atlanta-based Delta Airlines was rated #1 by corporate travelers in the annual Business Travel News Airline Survey for the 11th year in a row. Customers also chose Delta "Best Airline in North America for 2021" in the Skytrax World Airline Awards. Delta CEO Ed Bastian was named a top ten CEO of 2021 in Glassdoor's 2021 Employees' Choice Awards, naming CEOs who excelled at supporting their people throughout the pandemic. 2021 was a challenging year for most companies. For Aventure, it was also one of celebration as it marked 20 years in business, which culminated in receiving the prestigious US Presidential E-Award for Exports in November. Aventure was recently congratulated by Delta's CEO at the annual meeting of the Metro Atlanta Chamber. "We frequently re-tweaked our business strategy to meet the constantly changing market situations," said Senior Vice President, Amyr Qureshi. "We diversified our products and portfolio of customers while creating synergies with competitors and closer relationship with repair shops, that ultimately resulted in record-setting revenues."
