The neon Pegasus, placed on Dallas' tallest building in 1934, became a beacon for airline pilots, and an iconic city symbol.

Aventure Aviation will attend MRO Americas 2022, taking place April 26–28 in Dallas, Texas. Held annually, this is the largest trade show for aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), bringing together global airline managers, suppliers, maintenance specialists, and security experts.

During the pandemic, Aventure outsourced over $7M USD in component repairs to MRO shops. This amount is expected to rise significantly due to the increasing number of flights globally, and Aventure's plans to purchase more aircraft.

In the past few years, Aventure acquired eight Boeing 737NGs and three 757s, with more acquisitions currently in the works.

Aventure's sales team is eager to meet with MRO reps in Dallas. Attending on the commercial side will be Ebrahim Zakaria, business development director, Andrew Crombie, sales director, and Kevin Lang, director of strategic accounts. Aventure's operations manager Mike Black will represent the military side.

After a long hiatus due to the pandemic, Aventure is once again reguarly traveling the world and meeting customers at industry trade shows.

One recent conference was the Aeroxchange conference, which took place February 28–March 3 in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The annual event brings together buyers and sellers to strengthen supply chain collaboration. Another show was PBExpo, which focuses on technology for the aviation marketplace. It was held March 3-4 in Miami Beach, Florida.

"Attending shows really help us focus on the needs of our customers by seeing them face-to-face," said sales director Andrew Crombie. "We are looking forward to attending more events, and making up for lost time," he added.

The Atlanta Community Food Bank hosted its annual Hunger Walk Run 5k in Aventure's hometown of Atlanta Georgia on March 6. It started at the "Home Depot Backyard," a 13-acre area around the Mercedes-Benz Stadium that features arts, entertainment and cultural experiences.

Aventure Office Manager Chelsea Griffin and Government Sales Manager Lyly Cao participated in person, while other team members participated in a virtual option. This year's event raised over $550,000 for six local hunger relief organizations.

The route went by some of Atlanta's most famous locations, including the Mercedes Benz Stadium, the Georgia Aquarium, and the World of Coca-Cola.

"It was really fun, and a great opportunity to give back to our local community," said Lyly.
