Aventure Aviation has acquired its fifth Boeing 737NG for 2022. Teardown for this recently retired GOL Airlines aircraft, MSN 28584, will be performed by Jetyard in Marana, Arizona, USA. Parts will be relocated to Aventure's Atlanta warehouse, where it will join an extensive stock of existing 737NG inventory. "With passenger travel on the rise and an increase in 737NG cargo conversions, this acquisition couldn't come at a better time," said Andrew Crombie, product line sales director. "Aventure continues to offer a unique global aviation investment platform for investors, leasing companies, and owners," said Aventure President Talha Faruqi. "With our experience in dismantling and a significant global customer base, we have solutions to deploy capital, provide asset management services, and material consignments for stakeholders," continued Talha. Aventure is in active discussions with owners, financial institutions, lessors, and airlines to find revenue-generating teardown solutions for idle aircraft. Aventure will seek synergies with MRO shops and offer parts supply solutions to airlines at Air Carriers Purchasing Conference (ACPC), held August 27–30 in San Diego, California. Farnborough Airshow is Back Aventure Aviation will attend the UK's Farnborough International Airshow, being held July 18–22 after a four-year absence. As one of the world's biggest aerospace events, it will provide face-to-face meetings with industry leaders, and access to over 1,500 exhibitors representing 96 countries. Over 80,000 trade visitors are expected to enjoy the flying and static displays of some of the world's best aircraft. Aventure will be represented by Mike Kitchener, EMEA senior director, and Ron Taylo, operations manager for military sales. The company is looking to collaborate with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and maintenance repair and overhaul facilities (MRO) who wish to increase their business through Aventure's distributorship network. With over 1,500 customers, 70% of Aventure's revenue comes from international commercial and military aircraft operators. Founded in 2001, Aventure Aviation is based in Atlanta, home to the world's busiest airport. The company is strategically located 300 miles west of the South Carolina Boeing 787 plant, 300 miles north of the Alabama Airbus A320/A220 plant, and a few miles from the Lockheed Martin C-130 and Gulfstream plants. Aventure at MRO BEER in Istanbul Aventure Aviation attended MRO BEER (Baltics and Eastern Europe Region), held June 15–16 in Istanbul, Turkey. Hosted by the Aviation Week Network, The event is a premier gathering place for operators, original equipment manufacturers, and suppliers from the Baltics and Eastern Europe region. MRO BEER provides a forum for the commercial air transport MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) industry to forge new partnerships and cement existing relationships. It was attended by Aventure Aviation customer sales representative Cuneyt Yanar, who is based in Aventure's Istanbul office. "I met with a lot of our customers in the region," said Cuneyt. Aventure Inspired by 'Top Gun' Top Gun: Maverick premiered in theaters worldwide on May 27, and follows the original Top Gun, released in 1986. After more than thirty years as a top naval aviator, Tom Cruise's Pete Mitchell is pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot. Aventure Aviation's sales team entered 2021 with a "Top Gun" mindset, setting goals to be the "best of the best." That theme was executed throughout different aviation conferences, like Air Carriers Purchasing Conrerence (ACPC), held last year in Aventure's hometown of Atlanta. With this theme in mind, Aventure organized a private showing of the movie for staff and their families at NCG Theater in Peachtree City, Georgia. "It was a great opportunity to spend time with coworkers outside of work," said Justin Kempson, staff accountant. "It felt so exclusive to have the theater to ourselves." World's Largest Airshow to Take Flight in Oshkosh, Wisconsin AirVenture Oshkosh, the largest airshow in the world, will take place July 25–31 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, USA. Presented by the Experimental Aircraft Association, this 69th edition of the annual show is expected to atttract over 500,000 spectators, and feature over 10,000 aircraft. "If you love aviation, this is a must-visit, bucket list event," said Robert Tyloch, Aventure warehouse operations manager and Wisconsin native. Visitors can fly on vintage aircraft, including a Ford tri-motor, the world's first mass-produced airliner, or WWll era bombers the B-17 Yankee Lady and the B-25 Berlin Express. This year's show will also celebrate the 75th anniversary of the U.S. Airforce. "The airforce has over 5,000 aircraft," said Ron Taylo, Aventure's operations manager for military sales.
