Aventure will also exhibit at booth #605 at the C-130 Technical Coordination Group (TCG) World Wide Review, taking place October 24–28 in Orlando, Florida. The C-130 Hercules is a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft produced by Lockheed Martin, just 20 miles from Aventure's Atlanta headquarters. "We look forward to reconnecting with customers after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic," said Ron Taylo, Aventure's operations manager for military sales. "These events let us meet with end-users and maintenance centers, who can benefit from cost savings and faster repair times." The C-130 holds the record as the largest and heaviest aircraft to ever land on an aircraft carrier, which it did on the USS Forrestal on October 30, 1963. This year, Aventure honors the 75th anniversary of the U.S. Air Force. Founded September 18, 1947, the U.S. Air Force heritage goes back nearly four decades prior. They are the world's largest operator of the C-130, with over 350 in its fleet. MRO Shows: Singapore to London
Aventure Aviation will attend MRO Europe on October 18–20 at ExCeL London, a month after attending MRO Asia-Pacific in Singapore. Both maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) events are organized by Aviation Week Network. Mike Kitchener, senior director for EMEA, and Cüneyt Yanar, sales representative, will represent Aventure in London. Singapore was attended by Saurabh Tripath, regional director for Asia. MRO Europe is the largest event of its kind on the continent, where airlines, MROs, OEMs, lessors, suppliers and industry experts meet to explore and define the aviation maintenance industry. It's a well-known venue for people to learn, connect, and do business in the commercial aviation aftermarket. Mike and Cüneyt will meet with airline representatives to discuss their parts requirements. Aventure is in the process of dismantling and harvesting parts from several retired aircraft in Europe, adding to Aventure's parts inventory on the continent. "We are looking to partner with MRO shops to store some of our Airbus and Boeing inventory," said Mike. "They can then offer their customers these parts for exchange or outright sale."
