Aventure Military Division Reflects as it Gets Ready for C-130 Shows

In anticipation of two key C-130 military aircraft conferences happening next month, Aventure Aviation pauses to reflect on the progress it has made over the years as it has grown into a world-class military aviation parts supplier.

Aventure has a proud heritage of military aircraft service, dating from the company's founding in 2001. An internal military division was established in 2010 to provide parts and service support for the Lockheed Martin C-130 transport. Aventure has since expanded to support fighter jets and other military aircraft.

The C-130 Hercules Orion Conference (HOC) takes place October 16–19 in Aventure's hometown of Atlanta. The C-130 Technical Coordination Group (TCG) World Wide Review occurs October 23–27 in Orlando, where Aventure will exhibit at booth 607.

Aventure has attended both each year since 2010. They have been important opportunities to establish and maintain relations with new and current customers, and ultimately close deals.

Aventure will again be present to listen to customer needs, and offer solutions with the best products and services available.

MRO Europe will see maintenance repair organizations, original equipment manufacturers, lessors, suppliers, and industry experts come together to learn, connect, and do business.

This year's event is expected to attract more than 9,000 attendees and over 450 exhibitors from all over the world.

Representing Aventure will be Mike Kitchener, senior director for EMEA. He will meet with airline representatives to discuss their specific parts requirements.

"We look forward to expanding our already large network of contacts in the region," Mike said. "We can't wait to establish new partnerships and strengthen our existing ones."

Aventure Aviation was a sponsor and participant of the 66th Annual Delta Golf Open, which took place September 8–10 at the Reunion Resort & Golf Club in Kissimmee, Florida.

Hosted by Delta Airlines, the event promotes the fellowship of Delta employees through the competitive spirit of golf.

The Delta Golf Open started in the spring of 1957 at the Griffin Municipal Golf Course in Griffin, Georgia. There were 88 participants from mostly around Atlanta and Dallas.

In recent years, as many as 900 golfers participate at some of Florida's most exclusive golf clubs.

This year was Aventure's first time sponsoring the event, which it did at the Gold Level.

"It was an honor to represent Aventure as a sponsor of this fantastic event," said Ebrahim Zakaria, Vice President of Sales. "We look forward to doing so again next year…where I wouldn't mind shaving a few strokes off my game!"

Aventure Aviation hosted a friendly-bowling competition and evening out on September 12 near the company's headquarters in Peachtree City, Georgia.

The event was held at Royal Lanes Social, an upscale bowling center and sports bar featuring 20 bowling lanes and other games, such as video basketball, shuffleboard, and cornhole.

Attendees included Aventure staff, family, and friends, who enjoyed a festive evening of bowling, games, and food. The highlight was a friendly competition, where teams competed for the title of "top bowler."

"The competition was fierce, but a lot of fun," said Aventure's Director of Sales for China and Eastern Asia, Steven Qu.

Awards were given to the three top-scoring teams, as well as one for "Best Effort."
