Aventure Aviation has announced a commitment to increase support for Embraer E-Jets. To date, Aventure has dismantled four E190s for parts, and are actively working to expand their offerings for Embraer customers.

"We have seen an increase in demand for E-Jet parts in recent years, and we have been actively working to meet this demand," said Kevin Lang, Aventure's director of strategic accounts. "We supply parts for the E170, E175, E190 and E195 jets, and have a significant inventory in Atlanta."

The Embraer E-Jet family is a series of narrow-body, short- to medium-range, jet airliners designed and produced by Brazilian aerospace manufacturer Embraer.

1,671 E-Jets have been produced as of June 30, 2023.

Aventure Aviation will attend MRO Americas, taking place April 9–11 at McCormick Place, in Chicago. The annual event is the world's largest for the commercial air transport maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) industry.

This will be the first time MRO Americas will be held in Chicago.

The exhibition and conference agenda, offer attendees the opportunity to network, exchange ideas and best practices, share experiences, debate issues, and gather knowledge.

Organized by Aviation Week Network, the event is expected to bring in over 1,000 exhibitors and nearly 20,000 attendees.

Attending on behalf of Aventure will be sales director Andrew Crombie and director of strategic accounts Kevin Lang.

Former American Airlines CEO and chairman and current co-founder of the non-profit, Breaking Down Barriers, Doug Parker, will be among the event's 50+ speakers.

Last year, MRO Americas was held in Aventure's hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, where Aventure hosted a VIP reception for over 150 guests at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

"As a Chicago native, it's great to have the event in town," said Kevin. "Our main goals are to strengthen current relationships and establish some new ones. I want to get a true feel of what the market is sensing right now."

Aventure Speaks on GANE Panel

Aventure's Amyr Quresh (center) shares insight on the future of aviation.

Aventure Aviation's senior vice president Amyr Qureshi spoke on the panel "Charting the Future of Commercial Aviation (Outlook 2030)" at the Gulf Aviation Networking Event (GANE), held February 29 at the V Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

GANE is a platform for networking, collaboration, and insight-sharing for leaders in the aviation industry, set against the backdrop of dynamic growth in the Gulf's aviation sector.

"I shared foresights gained through supporting and harnessing technology, coupled with the post-COVID era challenges faced during the return to service of various fleet types," said Amyr.

Amyr also gave a brief presentation on Aventure Aviation's acquisition of 30+ passenger jets.

GANE also hosted the Aviation Achievement Awards ceremony and gala dinner, where Aventure once again won the supplier of the year award.

Thinking Green for Earth Day

"Happy Earth Day" image of Earth from space

Earth Day takes place on April 22, and Aventure would like to reflect on how we can all help safeguard our planet. First celebrated in 1970 to support environmental protection, Earth Day has grown into a wide range of globally coordinated events.

Aventure has prioritized eco-friendly practices throughout many aspects of the company. For example, on-site electric car chargers at Aventure's Atlanta headquarters have reduced the use of fossil fuels for employees and visitors for six years.

Aventure has sponsored industry-specific innovative green initiatives, like the Solar Impulse 2, the world's first solar-powered aircraft to circumnavigate the Earth. Aventure also recycles aircraft parts from retired airplanes, which then go through a process to again become airworthy.

Aventure is working on a new initiative for retired aircraft parts that can no longer be used for aviation-related purposes, by selling them to collectors and aviation enthusiasts.

"We are serious about being eco-friendly," said Ron Taylo, Aventure's operations manager for military sales. "We're always striving to do better, and are excited about the eco-friendly upgrades coming with our new headquarters in 2025."
