In 2023, the first edition of the air show was held following the 2020 covid pandemic, and saw nearly 2,500 exhibitors from 48 countries attend, and $150 billion USD in contracts signed. "We are excited to once again attend the Paris Air Show, which is one of the world's largest events for our industry," said Nayle. "We look forward to meeting with our customers and colleagues." Honoring Fathers on Father's Day Aventure Aviation vice president of sales and father Ebrahim Zakaria, with his family at the 2023 company holiday party. This year, Father's Day takes place June 15 in the United States, and Aventure would like to recognize the countless contributions made by fathers. The holiday is a time to reflect on the values of leadership, responsibility, and dedication fathers show every day to their families, communities, and workplaces. Aventure was founded in 2001 by two fathers, Zaheer Faruqi and Amyr Qureshi. Zaheer's three sons, Talha, Hamzah, and Osman, started their careers at Aventure by working part-time in the Aventure warehouse during high school. Over the years, they rose through the ranks to take on leadership roles within the company, and eventually became fathers themselves. "Fatherhood is the most rewarding thing I've ever done—it's a blast every single day," said Andrew Crombie, director of asset management. "Though sometimes, it feels like your kids are AOG (Aircraft On Ground), and every part you've got on the shelf is BER (Beyond Economical Repair)," he joked.
