Aventure team members in 2024 at MRO Europe in London. Aventure will attend three conferences this month, MRO Europe, Global Defence Aviation, and the C130 Technical Coordination Group (TCG) World Wide Review. Taking place October 14–16 in London, MRO Europe has become one of the continent's largest commercial aviation maintenance events, with 11,000 industry professionals from 95 countries expected to attend. This will include Aventure's senior director of sales and business development Mike Kitchener and sales representative Cüneyt Yanar. Aventure's military division will attend two events. Ron Taylo, operations manager for military sales, will attend Global Defence Aviation Overview held October 21–23 in Warsaw, Poland. From October 27–31, the team will be in Orlando, Florida, for the C-130 TCG World Wide Review. Attending with Ron will be senior vice president Amyr Qureshi, director of military sales Osman Faruqi, and military accounts manager Nawal Lodi. Military Airshow Coming to Aventure

The show will host the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, and feature iconic aircraft such as the F-15 Eagle, MV-22 Osprey, C-17 Globemaster III, and a WW2 era P-51 Mustang. The event is a part of the 2025 Air Dot Show Tour, which will visit eight iconic destinations, inspiring millions with a patriotic celebration of military and civilian aviation. Located about a mile from Aventure's headquarters, Aventure has hosted events during the show for friends and family looking to watch the aerial festivities. "Working just down the road, I look forward to the show every year," said assistant operations manager Kimberly Gay. "It's incredible to see the sky come alive right over our heads." The show provides many volunteer opportunities for local aviation enthusiasts, including team members at Aventure. Atlanta's 5K on the Runway Takes Off
5K on the 5th Runway participants Hamzah Faruqi (L) and Zaheer Faruqi. Aventure joined thousands of participants at Atlanta's annual Mayor's 5K on the 5th Runway, held September 20 at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. This year marks the 11th anniversary of this iconic race, which welcomed 2,000 participants of all abilities, ages ten and older. This unique 5K allows participants to compete for charity on a single runway that sees 100,000 landings and takeoffs annually at the busiest airport in the world. Hosted by Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, over $200,000 was raised for the Mayor's Youth Scholarship Program and the United Way of Greater Atlanta. The length of a 5K race is 5 kilometers (3.1 miles), a distance favored among new and experienced runners alike. "How many can say they've run on an active runway?," said Hamzah Faruqi, Aventure's director of sales and 5K participant. Breast Cancer Awareness in the Aviation Industry
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Aventure would like to highlight initiatives within the aviation community that bring attention to this important cause. Approximately 2.3 million new cases are diagnosed annually, and 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Aventure has supported cancer awareness in meaningful ways. One example is the Real Men Wear Pink campaign, an American Cancer Society initiative where community and business leaders wear pink in October to raise awareness and funds for research. Team members have taken part in international efforts, such as Cycling4Cancer, a 1,200-mile (1,900-kilometer) ride spanning the entire length of Great Britain. This event was especially meaningful as it was done to support a team member's wife, who was a recent cancer survivor. The aviation community has a unique platform to unite people worldwide and to use that reach for important causes. Aventure remains committed to supporting awareness and research initiatives that bring hope to those affected by breast cancer.
