Aventure will attend MRO Americas, held Apr 21–23 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The event is the world's largest for the aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) industry.

Organized by Aviation Week Network, MRO Americas is a central hub for the commercial aviation aftermarket to connect, network, and discuss industry trends. It brings together the entire aviation ecosystem, including airlines, OEMs, MRO providers, suppliers, and regulators.

MRO Americas began in 1996, and was the first major industry gathering focused on aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul. It helped popularize the term "MRO" in civil aviation.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the event. To celebrate, the organizers have introduced new experiences for attendees, including a brand new tech hub, curated networking zones, and AI-powered matchmaking. 2026 is also a significant year for Aventure, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Last month Aventure attended three trade shows in Asia and the Middle East, consisting of the Singapore Airshow, MRO Middle East, and the World Defense Show.

Held at the Singapore's Changi Exhibition Centre, the Singapore Airshow was attended by vice president of APAC David Clark, manager of military sales Ron Taylo, and senior accounts manager Nayle Siddiqui. The team experienced a productive and well-organized event, with a steady flow of meetings, meaningful customer discussions, and strong engagement from operators and industry partners throughout the week.

Attending MRO Middle East in Dubai were senior vice president Amyr Qureshi and sales representative Cüneyt Yanar. The show provided valuable face time with regional airlines and MRO providers, allowing the team to strengthen existing relationships while identifying new opportunities across the Middle East.

Finally, attending the World Defense Show (WDS) in Riyadh were senior vice president Amyr Qureshi, manager of military sales Ron Taylo, and junior sales representative Saad Saeed.

WDS offers exposure within the defense sector, creating opportunities to connect with military operators, government representatives, and defense contractors. Aventure reinforced its capabilities in military and government programs at the show.

Jane Skiles O'Dea Honored for Women's History Month

Jane Skiles O'Dea, one of the U.S. Navy's first female pilots.

March is Women's History Month in the United States, and Aventure honor's the life and legacy of Jane Skiles O'Dea.

She was born on April 11, 1950, in Ames, Iowa. Her father was an architect that served as a naval aviator in World War II, and her mother was a naval supply officer.

O'Dea joined the Navy in 1972, and two years later was selected as one of the first eight women to enter military pilot training. In April 1974, she was among the first six women to receive her wings as a Navy pilot.

She was the first woman qualified to pilot the C-130 Hercules, a mission-critical transport aircraft that Aventure has supplied parts for since 2010. She logged over 3,000 hours in the C-130 and other aircraft, eventually achieving the rank of Captain.

Retiring from the Navy in 1997, O'Dea worked as a government contractor until 2014. She lived in Norfolk, Virginia, and St. Louis, Missouri, before passing away in 2022.
