Atlanta Aviation International specializes in refurbishing aircraft interiors.

Aventure Aviation has acquired Atlanta Aviation International, an FAA Certified Repair Station based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Founded in 1994, Atlanta Aviation is a well-established MRO shop that refurbishes aircraft interiors for commercial, business, general aviation, rotorcraft, and military aircraft.

The acquisition involves relocation of the Atlanta Aviation shop. It will become part of the Aventure campus located in Peachtree City, Georgia, which includes a newly-built 70,000 square foot state-of-the-art warehouse.

Together, Aventure and Atlanta Aviation will create a strong diversified portfolio and synergy that will allow both companies to globally scale their capabilities and offer additional services .

Atlanta Aviation International president Michael Thatch and his entire team will continue their roles to provide a seamless transition to the new location and continue to provide the outstanding services they are known for in the industry.

"We are incredibly proud of this new relationship and are determined to accelerate our capabilities while leveraging Aventure's end-of-life aircraft and offering solutions to customers with refurbished aircraft interior parts," said Michael.

"This is an important threshold for Aventure and helps build our strategy of bringing the capabilities of an MRO shop in-house for the first time," said Aventure president Talha Faruqi. "It significantly expands our business model and strengthens our position as a partner to aviation operators worldwide."

Aventure Aviation attended Verticon, held March 9–12 at the Georgia Congress Center in Aventure's hometown of Atlanta.

Produced by Vertical Aviation International (VAI), Verticon is the world's largest vertical aviation trade show. It connects manufacturers, operators, and industry leaders to showcase helicopters, eVTOL/uncrewed systems, and new technology.

This year's event had 684 exhibitors representing over 80 countries, with 64 aircraft on display. The show provided an opportunity for customers, buyers and suppliers to discuss challenges using rotorcraft for business, medical evacuations, law enforcement, oil fields, and offshore operations.

"The show allowed us to have great conversations with our international customers, with many taking the time to visit our nearby headquarters," said David Clark, vice president of APAC.

"Our customers demand the immediate availability of critical spares, fast component MRO turnaround services, and a reliable partner…all of which Aventure is known for," David added.

Aventure's Kayla Robinson speaks with students at the career expo.

Aventure participated at the Fayette Works 8th-Grade Career Expo, held February 25–27, at the Center of Innovation in Peachtree City, Georgia.

Approximately 1,500 students from five Fayette County public middle schools interacted with industry professionals and explored career pathways over three days of hands-on, interactive learning across high-demand careers.

Students were able to rotate through immersive, activity-based stations representing twelve career areas facing critical workforce shortages, including healthcare, manufacturing, engineering, information technology, and aviation.

"Aventure was excited to show available career paths in aviation, as well as a future career with our company," said Aventure marketing intern Kayla Robinson.

"By engaging students early, the goal is to help them make informed decisions about their high school coursework, and prepare their lives after graduation as workforce-ready young adults," Kayla added.

Others participating from the aviation sector included Delta Airlines, Delta Tech Ops, the FAA, and Jetaire.
